NINE POINTS?
I'm alloted 22 points per day, and 1 cup of macaroni and cheese is 41% of that?
Just kill me now.
In other [good] news, I seem to have lost a couple pounds already. The last time I was on weight watchers I lost about 3 to 5 pounds a week for 2 months. Then I stopped doing weight watchers and never lost another pound. That was in early 2005.
I feel good, not weak or hungry. But oh, my mac and cheese! how I'll miss you! Perhaps this is how I"ll spend some of my "activity points".
Meanwhile, Sweet Baboo is getting all hunky and stuff. The other day I said, "nice package" to him. He was all embarassed; it was cute. But when he's talking to me at home and getting dressed at the same time, I'm finding it difficult to focus on what he's saying.
...
I got hungry reading this post! Good luck #22…
ReplyDeleteI've got to get back to tracking, I don't do points, but there's a free site where you can track calories and workouts and all if you're interested. www.sparkpeople.com
ReplyDeleteThat's not meant as spam, I've enjoyed the site, although I'm currently at a plateau point myself. grrr.
If eating mac and cheese is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
ReplyDeleteGreat job (you and SB) sticking with the weight watchers...it's an awesome program.
When I have done WW in the past I found cheese in general was something I really missed. I never knew how much I loved it. :>D
ReplyDeleteI love the ww core program. Don't forget to try it out if the point counting gets a little stale.
MMm Mac & Cheese :)
ReplyDeleteso glad i found this site. i love it!!!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Amy's Organic frozen mac/cheese? I think it's soy cheese. DOn't know the fat/calorie content tho...so don't know how many points it's worth, but it's sure GOOD!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, that's cute (about Sweet Baboo)...NOT so cute about the mac n' cheese! Congrats on the loss!
ReplyDeleteKraft dinner....the bestest thing in the whole wide world.
ReplyDelete1 CUP of Mac & Cheese? That's not even an appetizer...
ReplyDelete:-)
Mmmm, rarely eat it, but I used to mainline mac and cheese in my flabulous days. Now it's a rare, but much enjoyed treat.
ReplyDeleteWWers rules! I lost 102 lbs on it!
Could you make some mac and cheese with fewer points?
ReplyDeleteLOL at SB's blushes
BTW I have read your 'first marathon' post quite a few times - it decided me that I would sign up for my first.
ReplyDeleteI joined WW for men the night you made your post about it. I've already lost 7lbs my first week (using exercise). At 3lb a week, I should be back in marathon shape for October.
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping get back on track.
He was "hunky" before. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe this will the topic of the next poll???
"Does smaller mean more attractive?"
o YES
o NO
o HELL NO
must wait until the current poll expires...
I feel your pain all of the time! I finally switched to the core plan because I got so tired of counting....AND there is a core plan mac and cheese! :)
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog and we have some thing in common so I find myself coming back for more!
ReplyDelete1. I also have lost weight (about 75 pounds to date)
2. I also have joined Weight Watchers before and hear your pain with points.
3. I used to live in NM and miss it very much. I'm jealous of where you get to train!
4. I also had mac&cheese for dinner last night and was flabergasted at the number of calories in a cup!
