Follow-up and pics.

I wrote that I did the Bottomless Triathlon a couple weeks ago, but I just now got the results.
The swim includes t1, and the bike includes t2, just so you know:

............400m Swim........14k Bike.............2.4 mile run = total time
2006......10:06.............34:02................32:51 = 1:16:59
2007.....11:13...............33.47................30.59 = 1:15:59
2008.....9:32................31:20................31:17 = 1:12:09

And, here are a couple pictures from the insanity known as "El Scorcho":

  2. Nice job!! Man, every time I think triathlete's are a crazy bunch, I read about some other crazy thing. Midnight running. Hmmm. I never would have thought about it!

  5. Am just catching up on reading the blogs I like -- including yours.

CONGRATS on the nice improvements in your tri results and cute pics of La Scorchita.

I also have to comment on your first day as an official counselor.

Athough I don't know you in-person, I have ready your blog for awhile, following your transition from teacher to counselor.

If you are any where near as good with the folks who walk through the door for counseling as you were as a Teacher (and you were), you will be an awesome asset to the Center and to the people that you will work with.

Too bad there aren't more counselors out there like you.

2016

Even though I was in awful shape in 2016 I was still stubborn and foohardy...so I spent a year running down whatever fitness base I had left...
