Maybe it's just me...

I think I look just a wee bit thinner when I put my Ironman Loo and Ironman CD'A pictures side-by-side.

IM Bike, 2007, and 2008:

Marathon walk/run, 2007 and then 2008:

I certainly look more energetic. A bit less pained, at my finish this year:

Maybe, some day, I can finish without one of those glow-in-the-dark necklaces on.

This weekend, I did a 30 mile bike and an 8 mile run. Both felt pretty good. I'm getting ready for Barb's race, a coupla sprints, and to pace Sweet Baboo for 30 miles of his first 100-miler.

And, as always, I have to ask myself......I wonder what else I can do?

Here's your confirmation: You are TOTALLY a lean, mean, IRON machine! You look fabulous.

Can I kill you now?

You look spectacular. Very lean and fit and oh so happy! :)

If I were you, I'd order the x-large family size photo spread: the 100 wallets, 20 8X10's, etc. and strategically place them everywhere.

Not just a wee bit- it's a definite difference!

I'm so impressed...you finish an Ironman and then you're right on to training for the next thing. I think I'd be a lump on the couch for a month!

I tried to send you a comment the day after from the hotel but blogger wasn't cooperating...anyway...CONGRATULATIONS! (Late, we just got home from the Sharkfest in San Fran)

You were awesome...I watched you cross the line and you were so happy I was beaming just watching you!

Wow...great pix too!

It's not just that you are thinner - you look so much more fit! It's the fitness that looks so totally hawt!

You are very, very active for someone who just did an IM last weekend. How many people don't even look at the bike or think about a run for months? Most of them, in my experience. Just futher proof of your IronHawtness.

Definitely leaner and sleeker - great pics!

You look so sleek!

BTW - you inspired me to start WW. Your success has proved that "dieting" can training for IM is possible. Thanks for the inspiration.

Yeah - just check ahead of time to look and see how many points you would get for, say, running for 40 minutes. Then make sure you don't take in more than that in whatever you're using for training: heed, gatorade, gels, whatever. Usually, if my workout is less than an hour, I drink sugar-free sports drinks (again folks, not interested in hearing about the evils of artificial sweeteners)

Just ran across your blog through the Reader service...keep rockin! I look forward to watching your training.

I would title your side-by-side photo gallery, "Strong and Stronger!"

Yah, I would.

Stay tuned...

you definitely look leaner this year, and you look great! BTW, I loved your post from a while back where you talked about seeing your shadow and you were surprised to see how lean your 'she' looked.
