The fine art of obsessing.

Today, we spent the day getting ready for Sweet Baboo's first 100-mile ultramarathon. Baboo would like me to share with you a quote by Goethe, that he really likes:

Whatever you do, or dream begin it now...
boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Begin it now.

Right now, himself is sitting on the couch, staring off into space, trying to think, think, THINK if he's forgotten anything.

How do you get ready to run 100 miles?

  3. That is one fine pace scheme! If he doesn't finish at 5:56 am will he be disappointed? :-)

Good luck to you both - that's a long day no matter what you're doing. Can't wait to hear all about it.

  8. Run Baboo run! (And I LOVE the "Morph" miles!! It's probably a road/place name, or an ultra runner term I don't know but it made me picture Baboo as a Transformer. :D)

  9. Best of luck Baboo! Just one question, how could one possibly run 100 miles on brats, beans and beer? Do they add extra propulsion?
